The JailHost option will not replace doing frequent script updates or using complex passwords, but it'll minimize any damage to your websites significantly, so you'll need to fix only one site not all of them.
JailHost in Shared Website Hosting
You can take advantage of JailHost with each and every shared website hosting plan that we provide and protect your sites against attacks fast and easy. Each domain and subdomain in the Hepsia Control Panel that comes with our plans has a separate folder and in contrast to what can often happen with many other Control Panels, the content is not mixed in a single main folder, so keeping the websites separate is a lot easier. Allowing JailHost for any website takes just a few clicks, so even if you don't have much experience, you will not need any special skills to be able to keep your Internet sites safe. The option isn't active by default in case that you would like to use a script that requires access to a different folder inside your account. In case you use JailHost, the remaining sites that you have will be protected, but even a hacked one will not remain damaged for too long because we'll have several daily backup copies for it all of the time, so that we can easily recover it.
JailHost in Semi-dedicated Hosting
JailHost comes with all of our semi-dedicated hosting plans and you could activate it with a few clicks. It is not activated by default because we do not want to prevent some scripts that require to access multiple folders in your account from working properly. You can enable JailHost for all other sites that you have from the Hepsia Control Panel and you can do this very easily even if you have no previous experience. What allows us to offer JailHost is the way Hepsia maintains multiple domains - they all have separate folders which can be "locked". In contrast, other popular Control Panels feature add-on domains and their content is kept in the main domain folder, so if a single site is hacked, the whole account is hacked, that isn't the case with Hepsia. In the event that a site gets damaged despite your efforts, we'll be able to recover it the way it was right away because we will keep a couple of daily backups of the whole account.
